The Parish of Battle with Northiam covers a large area of East Sussex in the heart of 1066 Country.
The Church of Our Lady Immaculate & St Michael is in the Deanery of St Leonards-on-Sea, part of the Catholic Diocese of Arundel and Brighton, and can be found in Mount Street (just off the High Street) in the pretty market town of Battle.
The town is dominated by the gateway to Battle Abbey, built on the site of the Battle of Hastings fought here in 1066. The Abbey is now owned and managed by English Heritage and is a major tourist attraction in this beautiful part of the South East of England.
